OATMEAL RAISIN CAKES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 c. oats
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. molasses
1 c. raisins

Combine all and mix well. Roll into balls and put on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

FILLING FOR OATMEAL CAKES:

3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together until thick. Spread between to cakes.
