LAYER I: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 stick butter (soften) 2/3 c. chopped walnuts Blend well and press in 9x13 pan. Bake 350 until brown, 25-30 minutes. Let cool. LAYER II: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. Cool Whip Mix well. Spread on No. 1 layer. LAYER III: Get 3 boxes instant butter pecan pudding. You can use butterscotch pudding, also 4 cups cold milk. Mix well until pudding thickens. Spread on Layer II. LAYER IV: Then spread Cool Whip all over layer III and sprinkle with ground nuts. This takes the large Cool Whip so you can use for layer 2 and layer 4. |
