SWEET POTATO, APPLE, PORK
CASSEROLE
 
4 lg. sweet potatoes
6 or 8 apples
Pork chops
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Salt
Pepper
Sage
1/4 c. boiling water

Butter glass baking dish. Pare potatoes, slice and layer on bottom of dish. Add sliced apples, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over top. Place pork chops on next. Season with salt, pepper and sage. Add boiling water to start steaming. Bake in 350 degree oven for 2 hours uncovered. Pork sausage or ham slices could be used.
