Bake cake mix as directed. Cut or break into pieces. Prepare 2 large packages instant vanilla pudding according to package directions. 2 lg. cans cherry pie filling 2 lg. cans crushed pineapple, drained 1 lg. Cool Whip

In a punch bowl, layer broken cake pieces, some pie filling, more cake, pineapple, pudding, cake, etc. Put banana slices between layers. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with cherries and nuts. Refrigerate overnight.
