GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
2-3 lbs. Idaho potatoes
1 med. onion, sliced
Parsley, chopped fine
Celery seed
Salt
Cayenne pepper
2 hard-boiled eggs

DRESSING:

3/4 c. corn oil
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar

Layer potatoes, eggs and onion. Sprinkle each layer with parsley, celery seed, salt and pepper. Bring dressing ingredients to a heavy boil, then pour over potatoes and let marinate. This may be served with or without the eggs and either warm or cold. Serves 8 to 10.
