EASY BUTTERMILK PIE 
2 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. flour (rounded)
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of nutmeg
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
2 pie shells, unbaked

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream sugar and butter. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Add vanilla, milk and nutmeg; mix well. Pour into pie shells.

Bake 20-25 minutes in preheated 350°F oven, then for 20-25 minutes more at 325°F or until a thin knife comes out clean.

Makes two 8 inch pies. (If you like pecan pie you'll like this.)
