EASY POPOVERS | |
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 2 eggs Heat oven to 425 degrees. Beat ingredients together with hand beater JUST until smooth. Be sure not to overbeat because it will reduce the volume. Pour into well-greased Pyrex custard cups or muffin tins (1/2 full). Bake until golden brown (40 to 45 minutes). Serve at once. Makes 6-8 popovers. (These are so quick and easy to make that you can decide to have them at the last minute.) |
