SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 egg
Dash of salt

Mix cake according to package directions. Fill paper bake cups in muffin pans 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar; beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop one rounded teaspoon cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directs. Makes about 28 cupcakes.
