HAM AND POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 layer white potatoes (thin), salted & peppered
1 layer sliced onion (thin)
1 layer sliced ham

Repeat until casserole is full. Make white sauce. Pour over potatoes, onions and ham to cover. Bake at 350 degrees in oven for about an hour.

WHITE SAUCE:

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in saucepan over low heat. While stirring constantly, add 1 tablespoon flour. Slowly add 1 cup milk and stir until thick and smooth. If a thinner white sauce is desired, increase the amount of milk, or decrease for a thicker white sauce. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.

Note: You may need to double the white sauce depending on the size of the casserole.
