LASAGNA 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 c. onion
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tsp. basil
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese slices
2 1/2 c. tomato juice
8 oz. pkg. lasagne noodles

Brown and drain the meat. Add onions and mushrooms. Add seasonings and tomato sauce. Simmer 10 minutes. Place 1/2 of an 8 ounce package lasagna noodles (raw) in layers in 8"x13" pan. Add layer of meat mixture, then 1 1/4 cups cottage cheese, sprinkle 3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layer once more. Lastly pour 2 1/2 cups tomato juice over it. Cover with foil paper. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Leave covered and bake for 2 hours in 300 degree oven.
