PAM'S FAMOUS NO GUILT MUD PIE | |
12 graham crackers, crushed with a rolling pin 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1/2 c. Nestle's Quik powder mix 1/4 c. liquid butter substitute (Butter Buds) 1 qt. non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt 1/2 jar non-fat chocolate fudge topping (Braum's Lite) 1 pkg. Dream Whip 1/2 c. cold skim milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. Grape Nuts cereal Crush graham crackers with a rolling pin on waxed paper. In a large bowl blend graham crackers, sugar, Nestle's Quik and liquid butter substitute. Press this mixture into a deep dish pie pan that has been sprayed with non-fat vegetable cooking spray. Pour softened frozen yogurt into the crust. Place in freezer for at least one hour. Once the yogurt has hardened, you may spread the fudge topping on top of it. Place the pie back in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Next prepare Dream Whip as directed using the skim milk and vanilla. Spoon the Dream Whip on top and sprinkle the Grape Nuts on top. Place in freezer until you are ready to serve. You might take it out of freezer about 10 minutes before serving, so it will be easier to cut. VARIATION: You can add 1/4 cup of your favorite liqueur to the soft frozen yogurt before you spread it over the crust. Some examples would be Kahlua, green creme de menthe or Amaretto. Yield: 8 servings. Per Serving: 1 g fat; 165 calories; 5.3 g protein; 5.9 mg cholesterol; 7.75 g carbohydrates; 51 mg sodium. |
