CREOLE OKRA AND TOMATOES 
1/2 c. butter
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 qt. okra, sliced
4 fresh tomatoes, coarsely chopped
Salt
Pepper to taste

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion; saute over medium heat until clear. Add bell pepper, okra and tomatoes and season to taste with salt and pepper. Lower heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 8-10.
