DAD'S BBQ SAUCE 
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. prepared mustard
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. sugar
5 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp. crushed red peppers
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
Beer or whiskey to taste

Cook onion in oil until yellow; add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve over diced, cooked pork. Yield: 1 pint.
