SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and butter, beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Add flour sifted with soda alternately with sour cream. Bake at 300 degrees in a greased and floured tube pan for about 90 minutes.
