HAM AND EGG DISH 
16 slices bread, crusts removed
1 c. ham, cubed
1 c. American cheese, cubed
8 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 1/2 c. milk
cornflakes, crushed
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter

Butter both sides of bread. Arrange 8 slices in greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover with cubed ham and cheese, then add 8 more slices of bread, buttered on top. Mix 8 eggs, beaten with mustard and milk. Pour over bread mixture, let stand overnight in refrigerator, covered with foil.

Keep covered while baking. Before baking, cover top with crushed cornflakes mixed with melted butter. Bake 1 hour at 350°F until set and lightly brown.
