CHEESE STRAWS 
1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Mix this with your hands until it is like pie dough; take a small amount of dough and roll thin on a floured board. Cut edges until it has four straight sides. Then cut the size straws you want. Put the trimmed dough back into the bowl to be worked in with remaining dough. Flour lightly a cookie sheet (no grease), pick up straws with a cake turner, and place on sheet. Place a little apart as they will stick together if they touch each other. Bake in 375 degree oven for 7 to 9 minutes. Watch close that they don't burn. If some get browner than others, take brown ones out and put the others back until they are done.
