2 c. buttermilk
2 sm. packages instant vanilla pudding
1 sm. can mandarin oranges, drained
1 med. Cool Whip
1 pkg. striped shortbread cookies, broken into fourths

Mix buttermilk and pudding well, will be thick. Fold in oranges and Cool Whip, chill. Before serving, fold in cookie pieces. Can also substitute small can of crushed pineapple well drained instead of the oranges.
