TIN CAN RAISIN BREAD | |
1 box raisins 2 tsp. butter 2 tsp. baking soda 2 c. boiling water 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. broken pecans 4 c. flour Mix raisins, butter, baking soda, and boiling water together and soak overnight. Next morning add remaining ingredients and mix well. Fill 6 well-greased #2 cans half full. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. |
