MERINGUE TOPPING 
3 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. sugar

Whip together in mixing bowl, egg whites, salt and vanilla. Gradually sprinkle sugar over egg white mixture. Beat for 2 minutes or until egg whites hold peaks. Spread on pie all the way to edge of crust. Bake at 350, 15 minutes or until brown.
