SHEATH CAKE (OLD) 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift sugar and flour in bowl. In saucepan mix butter, oil, cocoa and water. Bring this mixture to a rapid boil and pour over flour and sugar mixture and stir well. Mix buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla and add. Mix well and pour into greased pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

ICING FOR ABOVE CAKE:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Start about 5 minutes before cake is done. Mix butter, cocoa and milk. Melt together and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar, vanilla and pecans. Beat well. Spread on cake while cake is still hot.
