CINNAMON - SUGAR MUFFINS 
1/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

SUGAR COATING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar

Microwave butter in glass mixing bowl 1/4 to 1/2 minute or until softened. Blend in sugar; beat in egg. Add remaining ingredients except sugar coating; stir just until blended. Spoon into 8 paper-lined 5 or 6 ounce glass custard cups.

Microwave, uncovered, 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes or until muffins are no longer doughy. (Remove muffins from oven as they are done.) Microwave 1/4 cup butter in small glass dish 1/2 to 1 minute or until melted. Dip tops of muffins in butter, then in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm. Makes 8 muffins.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
