COOKED SLAW DRESSING 
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. butter

In a saucepan, cook eggs, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens. Add 1 tablespoon butter and chill thoroughly. Toss with coarsely chopped cabbage and serve.
