STOLLEN 
3 cakes yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk, scalded
5 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Filling

Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Add butter, sugar, and salt to scalded milk. Add mixture to softened yeast with eggs and enough flour (about 2 cups) to make a stiff batter. Beat well. Add the rest of the flour and mix it in. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in bulk. Put on bread board, divide in two and roll out gently. Put filling on rolled out piece and roll it up. Again allow it to rise in greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees in oven until done.
