KIT'S BAR-B-Q SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 sliced onion
1 clove garlic
3/4 c. water
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Melt butter, add onion and cook until brown. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups. Great for chipped ham barbecues.
