PAN BURRITOS | |
2 lbs. ground chuck 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste 2 pkgs. enchilada sauce mix 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans 1 pkg. small flour tortillas 1 (8 oz.) pkgs. shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 1 tsp. garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste Brown beef and drain. Mix tomato paste and sauce. Mix according to directions on mix package. Add half of sauce to beef and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Grease a 13 x 9 pan and pour 3/4 cup of remaining sauce on bottom of pan. Layer 3 tortillas on top, tearing to fit pan. Spoon on half of meat mixture and 1/3 of cheese. Add another layer of tortillas, then warmed refried beans. Rest of meat and 1/3 more of cheese. End with one more layer of tortillas, rest of sauce and cheese. Bake 30 minutes for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let set for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with taco sauce (optional) chopped onions and sour cream. |
