V-8 BEEFY CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. ground chuck, browned
1 sm. chopped onion
1/3 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
24 oz. V-8 juice
1 can tomato soup plus 1 can water
3/4 head sm. cabbage, chopped

Place all ingredients together except cabbage and cook until heated through. Then add cabbage and cook until tender crisp.
