SPICY CLAM DIP 
2 cans (6 1/2 oz.) minced clams
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. oreganotsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 lb. butter

Use more or less to taste. Judge your audience.

Simmer clams with clam juice and lemon juice in saucepan for 15 minutes. Saute next 6 ingredients in butter until green peppers wilt. Add bread crumbs and clams and mix through. Turn into a shallow pan (like a pie pan). Top with paprika and Parmesan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serves approximately 10 to 12 as an appetizer.
