LAYERED ORIENTAL SALAD 
6 c. Iceberg lettuce
1/4 lb. bean sprouts
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/2 c. green onions
1 sliced med. cucumber
4 c. chicken or shrimp
2 pkgs. snow peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. curry powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
1 doz. cherry tomatoes

Layer top 7 items. Mix next 3 and put between layers. Sprinkle on top last 2 items for topping. Serves 12. Garnish with chutney and chopped ginger; pass in bowls.
