HOT EGG NOG 
2 qts. milk
12 eggs
1 lb. sugar
1 qt. good whiskey (preferably a good Kentucky bourbon)

Beat egg yolks until light in color, add sugar, and beat for 10 minutes more. Have milk heated to near boiling, and pour slowly the hot milk into the egg mixture.

Beat the egg whites to a stiff froth and add whiskey, then top each glass of eggnog with a beaten egg white. Delicious and soooo "Southern".
