1/2 lb. marshmallows
1 c. thin cream or milk
1 pt. whipped cream
4 drops essence of peppermint or 1 tsp. peppermint flavoring
Several drops of green food coloring
40 chocolate Oreo cookies

Crush cookies and place 1/2 in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Save rest for top. Heat milk and melt marshmallows in double boiler. Cool well!! Add flavoring, coloring, and whipped cream, and fold into mix. Add torte onto crumbs and cover with remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
