CHICKEN DUMPLINGS 
1 fat chicken
1 gallon water
1/2 c. flour
Pepper and salt to your taste
2 c. water

Cook chicken in gallon of water until tender. Keep adding water as needed so there will be enough chicken broth. Mix together flour, salt, pepper and 2 cups water. Mix and pour into chicken broth. It will make a thin sauce over chicken. Then remove chicken from broth.

DUMPLINGS:

5 eggs
3 c. flour
Water

Beat together the eggs and flour and enough water to make a dough. Then roll out on floured surface. Cut in squares. Drop into chicken broth. Cook until done.

Chicken can be taken from bone and put in the pot with dumplings.
