CHICKEN OR TURKEY AND DUMPLINGS 
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. water
1 c. chicken or turkey broth
1 c. boneless pieces of canned or cooked chicken or turkey
Salt and pepper, as desired
Dumpling dough (recipe follows)

Mix the flour and water in a pan until smooth. Slowly stir in broth. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken or turkey, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Drop dumpling dough from a tablespoon onto gently boiling mixture to make 4 dumplings. Cover pan tightly and cook slowly for 15 minutes without lifting lid. Makes 2 servings.

DUMPLING DOUGH:

1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk.
