BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Place sugar and shortening in a bowl and stir easy with a wooden spoon. Add eggs and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in fruit or nuts or cinnamon. Bake in cupcake liners and cupcake pans at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
