COUNTRY COLE SLAW 
1 sm. cabbage
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. mustard
Milk or buttermilk as needed
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped unsalted peanuts

Slice or chop 1 head of cabbage as finely as possible. Mix vinegar and sugar and pour over cabbage. Mix well and let stand for at least 2 hours and overnight in refrigerator. Mix mustard into mayonnaise and add to mixture. Stir well and then moisten with milk or buttermilk until creamy. Add seasonings and unsalted peanuts just before serving and mix thoroughly.
