1 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 hot pepper
1 egg
1 onion

Mix dry ingredients. Add 1 egg, 1 onion and 1 hot pepper. Add buttermilk and mix well. Deep fry.
