1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter

Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add and stir in eggs and vanilla. Add and mix well the flour, baking soda and oatmeal. Spread 2/3 of mixture into bottom of 10x15 inch pan. Melt in double boiler or microwave the chips and condensed milk. Spread that mixture over the bottom crust. Cover with the remaining crust. (It will be just dropped on by bits here and there.) Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
