2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in sauce pan and bring to a boil for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, oatmeal, vanilla and salt. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper; (we just spread the waxed paper on the counter top). Allow to cool completely.
