SAVORY BROWN RICE 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. frozen seasoning blend
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
2 c. instant brown rice

Heat butter in a 2-quart saucepan over medium to low heat. Add seasoning blend and saut until tender, but not browned. Add thyme, oregano and broth; let boil. Add rice and return to boiling. Stir; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir. Replace cover and allow to stand for 5 more minutes. Fluff rice with a fork, then serve.

Serves 6.
