GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 c. cold boiled potatoes, sliced 8 slices bacon 1 egg yolk 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 c. water 1/3 c. onion, chopped fine 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. flour Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp, drain on paper towel. Leave approximately 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Mix all ingredients except bacon and potatoes in skillet, bring to a boil. Add potatoes and bacon cut in pieces to mixture. Heat through. 1 1/2 quart casserole. |
