LEMON ICE BOX TORTE 
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1 1/3 c. boiling water
Juice & rind of 2 lemons
1/3 c. sugar
1 lg. can chilled, whipped Carnation milk (chill can of milk overnight)
Crushed vanilla wafers

Mix lemon Jello with boiling water. When dissolved add lemon juice and rind and sugar. Put in ice box and when partly thick whip until foamy in mixer. Add whipped Carnation milk to mixture. Line 9"x13" pan with crushed vanilla wafers, add lemon mixture, sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers. Let stand in ice box overnight. Serves 10.
