CHUCK WAGON BEANS | |
1/2 lb. bacon slices 1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced 3 c finely chopped onion 1 c finely chopped celery 1 1/2 tsp salt 2 beef bouillon cubes 2/3 c boiling water 3 lb. ground beef 1 1/2 c catsup 3 tbsp prepared mustard 2 - 29 oz cans molasses style baked beans 1/2 tsp pepper Fry bacon until crisp, drain and set aside. Cook ground beef, onion, and celery until meat is brown and onions are tender; drain off fat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Mix all ingredients in large Dutch oven or crock pot. Crumble bacon over beans. |
