SCALLOP SAUCE FOR PASTA 
1 lb. scallops (bay scallops are fine here)
1/2 c. oil
1 tbsp. garlic, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. (or a little more) red pepper flakes
1 lb. pasta
2-3 tsp. parsley
Salt and pepper to taste (about 1/2 tsp. each)
Unflavored fresh bread crumbs, sauteed in oil

Saute garlic in oil and add parsley. Add scallops and cook just until opaque 3- 4 minutes. Pour over pasta and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
