BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
1/4 c. white wine
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. finely chopped onions
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
Water, to own self

Marinate meat in wine about 1/2 hour, drain, reserving marinade. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet and add beef; saute meat until brown. Remove meat. Saute onions in remaining butter.

Add enough water to marinade to make 1 cup liquid. Stir in onion heat thoroughly. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add meat, simmer 15 minutes. Fold in mushrooms and sour cream. Heat throughout. Serve hot with baked potatoes.
