GRANDMA'S CASSEROLE 
8 tsp. butter
1 c. onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 to 1 c. chopped celery
1 lb. ground turkey (uncooked)
1 tsp. seasoned salt
pinch of oregano
pinch of garlic
1 tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 small can mushrooms
6 oz. egg noodles
8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese (low-fat or skim)

Preheat oven to 450°F. Bring water to a boil and melt butter. Pour over turkey that has been salted and peppered in covered roasting pan. Put on lid. Place in oven. Let cook for 1 hour, then turn off oven, but DO NOT OPEN DOOR UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING. It will be done and brown. There will be plenty of broth. IF TURKEY IS LESS THAN 14 POUNDS, COOK ONLY 45 MINUTES.
