1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg

Prepare cake mix. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over cake mixture; swirl with knife.

Bake at 350°F per cake instructions.
