CREAMY MASHED POTATOES 
5 lbs. potatoes, sliced
2 tsp. salt
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese with chives
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. milk

Cook potatoes with 1 teaspoon salt about 30 minutes. Drain well and mash. Add cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, pepper, and remaining salt. Mix until smooth.

Gradually add milk, mixing until smooth. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 dish. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle on paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Increase heat to 375 degrees and cook 30 more minutes. Serves 12.
