TERIYAKI MARINADE 
3 c. soy sauce
2 c. water
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 tsp. ginger, minced
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix soy sauce, water and brown sugar together in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over meat or chicken. Cover and refrigerate no longer than 3 hours.

This recipe can be used for chicken, pork ribs, or beef short ribs. Grill or broil meat or chicken as you normally would.
