AMBROSIA ORIENTAL SALAD 
2 c. cooked fresh shrimp
1 c. mandarin oranges
1 c. pineapple chunks
1 small can sliced water chestnuts
4 c. lettuce (bite size)
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. sliced onions (in rings)
1/4 green pepper, diced
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1 c. cashew nuts

Place lettuce in bowl and other ingredients. Drain fruit real good.

Dressing:

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. grated onion
1 c. oil

Combine first 5 ingredients; mix thoroughly. Add oil slowly. Beat with an electric mixer until thick. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
