GRANDMA'S RED VELVET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 bottles red food coloring

3 layers. Mix all together and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Let all 3 layers cool and top with Cream Cheese Icing.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Mix with mixer.
