RED VELVET POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
7 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Pinch of baking powder
1 bottle red food coloring

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Add together, alternating with milk. Add food coloring and mix well. Bake in tube pan (325 degrees) for 1 hour 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 box powdered sugar

Mix well and spread on top and sides of cake.
